Admissions criteria

  • 70 selective places (25% of PAN) awarded by Wandsworth Test score. All applicants must sit the test. Places go to highest-scoring applicants; where scores are tied, distance from the school measuring point is the tiebreaker.
  • The remaining 210 open places are awarded by straight-line distance — historically very tight (under 710 m). Siblings and EHCP children receive priority before distance-based allocation. Sibling numbers significantly affect the tightness of the distance cutoff year-to-year.

Distances are straight-line from home to school. “Furthest distance at threshold score” — where applicants are tied on score, distance decides. This figure is the furthest distance at which a place was offered to someone on the minimum qualifying score. For example, if the threshold is 251 and two applicants both scored 251, only the closer one received a selective place.
